Immobility

I was driving back on a Thursday afternoon when it happened. I was driving under normal circumstances - about 40 to 50 km/hour on the usual lane but it was inevitable. I crashed into an Ixora bearing the car registration as depicted below. The car was trying to cross over from a perpendicular trunk road. I jammed the breaks ( probably not hard enough ) only to hit the right side of the Proton. Back then I kept on thinking "Wtf.. wtf.. wtf.. ".I came out to inspect the damages and told the lady who was driving the Ixora to move to the side of the road so we could settle things.
But in truth, I was dead numb about what I had to do. So I gave my dad a call and asked for further instructions. Shortly after, my brother arrived at the scene too after I requested his help. I confronted the lady and she simply replied that my car was not visible to her when she attempted to cross the road. She further added that she was not familiar with her car, stating that she drives a Skyline regularly and that she thought her Ixora could cross the road in a similar speedy fashion. Fortunately, I and Jeffrey, who was in the car with me when the accident occured were not injured. The accident occured somewhat between 11.30-11.40a.m. It was only around 1pm when the agent from UMW arrived to assist me. Moments later, Heng Yie arrived too and we then decided to proceed to a police station and lodge a report. It was only until late 3.00pm that we were able to leave the station. I was assured by the UMW agent that the lady was found guilty as she was given a saman ticket. My brother left for work while Heng Yie, Jeffrey and me followed the agent/claim advisor to the repair centre. There, I signed some documents and we were sent back home.
